Abstract: Objective: To conduct a scoping review of studies on digital technology for adolescent mental health interventions, aiming to provide an evidence-based reference for nursing professionals to participate in adolescent mental health services. Methods: A systematic search for relevant literature on digital technology interventions for adolescent mental health was conducted in both Chinese and English databases from inception to September 1, 2025. Included literature was summarized and analyzed. Results: A total of 21 articles were included. Technologies included mobile applications and web platforms, conversational agents (chatbots), virtual reality, and text messaging interventions. The content covered psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotional intervention, social interaction, and daily life reminders. CBT-based mobile Apps, online social support platforms, and virtual reality demonstrated positive effects on depression, anxiety, insomnia, and self-harm reduction. Conclusion: Digital technology can effectively improve adolescent mental health, but challenges remain regarding user adherence and long-term effectiveness. Nursing professionals can assume roles in screening and assessment, intervention delivery, therapeutic alliance maintenance, and multidisciplinary coordination within digital mental health services. Future research should focus on longer-term follow-ups, exploring intervention mechanisms, developing culturally adapted strategies, and advancing implementation science.
