Abstract: Objective: To carry out evidence-based nursing practice for the prevention and management of non-suicidal self-injury in hospitalized adolescents with mood disorders, so as to promote the transformation of evidence into practice. Methods: Evidence-based method was used to screen and include 13 pieces of evidence, which were transformed into 15 review indicators. Convenient sampling method was used to select hospitalized adolescents with mood disorders and medical staff in the ward of a tertiary grade A hospital in Nanjing, and baseline review was conducted from September to December 2023 to identify the obstacle factors and formulate prevention and management strategies. From May to July 2024, evidence-based practice was carried out and re-examined, and the implementation rates of review indicators, patients' self-harm and anxiety and depression scores were compared before and after evidence application. Results: After apply the evidence, the implementation rates of 14 indicators were improved (P<0.05). The score of adolescents self-harm scale decreased from 13 (11,18) to 3(1,4), the score of anxiety decreased from 55.74±14.09 to 32.54±6.52, and the score of depression decreased from 62.94±14.68 to 36.77±10.11, all differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).
