Abstract: Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of the Family Integrated Tiered Care (FITC) program in premature infants with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), to improve their health outcomes. Methods: Preterm infants with BPD in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a tertiary grade A hospital in Hubei province between March and November 2025 were selected by convenience sampling, and randomly assigned to a control group (30 cases) and an intervention group (29 cases). The control group received nursing care in accordance with the guidelines for Family Integrated Care of neonates, while the intervention group was implemented with the FITC program. The two groups were compared in terms of unplanned readmission rates, time to weaning from oxygen, growth and developmental indicators at follow-up, discharge readiness, and satisfaction with family-participatory wards. Results: Compared with the control group, the intervention group showed a lower rate of unplanned readmission (26.67% vs 17.24%) and a shorter oxygen weaning time, which decreased from (30.43±12.97) days to (16.30±9.80) days; additionally, its growth and developmental indicators were closer to standard values. Statistically significant differences were observed between groups in discharge readiness, satisfaction scores increased after implementation (P<0.05). Conclusion: The FITC program demonstrates significant clinical efficacy, effectively improving the short-term prognosis of preterm infants with BPD while enhancing caregiver's satisfaction and discharge readiness.
