Abstract: Objective: To construct a salt-control behavior intervention program for middle-aged and young hypertensive patients based on the Easy, Attractive, Social and Timely (EAST) behavioral intervention principles and nudge theory and provide references for further improving salt-control behavior of middle-aged and young hypertension patients. Methods: The first draft of the salt-control behavior intervention program was constructed through literature review and qualitative interviews. Totally 2 rounds of expert consultations with 12 experts were performed by Delphi method to establish the final salt-control behavior intervention program for middle-aged and young hypertension patients from July to November 2024. Results: The effective response rates of 2 rounds of the questionnaire were 92% and 100%, respectively; the experts authority coefficients were 0.850, 0.884, respectively; the Kendall's concordance coefficients of the importance and the feasibility of each item in the 2 rounds were 0.267, 0.204 and 0.275, 0.210, respectively (all P<0.05); the variation coefficients for importance and feasibility were 0.06-0.40, 0.10-0.45 and 0-0.22, 0-0.20, respectively. The final program included 4 first-level items (Easy, Attractive, Social and Timely), 11 second-level items and 15 third-level items. Conclusion: The constructed salt-control behavior intervention program for middle-aged and young hypertensive patients in the study is scientific, specific, which provides references for nursing measures of salt-control behavior management in middle-aged and young hypertension patients.
