Abstract: Objective: To construct an index system of nursing risk assessment for pregnant patients in dental clinics to provide reference for related risk assessment. Methods: Through literature analysis, semi-structured interview and Delphi method, the nursing risk assessment index system for pregnant patients in dental clinics was established. And the weight of indicators was determined by analytic hierarchy process. Results: The effective questionnaire response rates for three rounds of expert inquiry were 100%, 100% and 94.74%, respectively, with the expert authority coefficients being 0.842, 0.842 and 0.832, respectively. After three rounds of inquiry, the Kendall harmony coefficients of the first, second and third level indicators were 0.467, 0.286, and 0.193, respectively (P<0.01). The final evaluation index system included 3 first-level indicators, 11 second-level indicators and 40 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The risk assessment index system for pregnant patients in dental clinics constructed in this study is comprehensive, scientific, and professional to provide reference for clinical nursing staff to accurately and effectively evaluate the nursing risks of pregnant patients in dental clinics.
