Abstract: Objective: To construct indicators of discharge readiness for patients with enterostomy, so as to provide reference for the content and evaluation of discharge readiness. Methods: The indicators of discharge readiness were determined by the following methods: comprehensive literature retrieval, semi-structured interviews with patients with enterostomy and two rounds of consultation with 25 experts by using Delphi method. The weight of each indicator was set by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Results: The 25 experts were all Enterostomal Therapists. The return rates of the two rounds of expert consultation forms were 100%. The expert authority coefficient was 0.965. The Kendall coefficient was 0.351 and 0.194, respectively (P<0.01). There were 30 indicators: three for Level 1, eight for Level 2 and 19 for Level 3. Conclusion: The indicators of discharge readiness for patients with enterostomy constructed in this study is scientific and reliable, which will be verified in clinical practice in the next step, so as to provide theoretical and practical basis for the further improvement of discharge readiness of patients with enterostomy.
