Abstract: The accurate position of the catheter tip is the premise of the safe use of PICC. In 2021, the Chinese Nursing Association released the association standard of "The Intracardiac Electrocardiogram method for positioning the tip of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter" to standardize the core process and key points of the Intracardiac Electrocardiogram method for positioning the tip of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter. This article briefly interprets the core points of the standard in combination with published clinical practice evidence.
