Abstract: Mothers with preterm infants had low rates of exclusive breastfeeding in the early stage. The main reason was delayed onset of lactogenesis. This paper analyzed the related literatures on delayed onset of lactogenesis and influencing factors. The purpose was to explore the relationship between maternal and infant factors, family support, lactation intervention and delayed onset of lactogenesis, and to provide information for medical staff who is in charge of breastfeeding management of mothers with delayed lactation. It is expected to reduce the incidence of delayed onset of lactogenesis, increase the rate of exclusive breastfeeding, and promote maternal and child health.
