Abstract: Improving and maintaining the intrinsic capacity of the elderly is the core of improving their functional ability and promoting healthy ageing. This article reviews the concept of intrinsic capacity, the tools of Integrated Care for Older People, the measurement tools and scoring methods of intrinsic capacity including cognition, vitality, locomotion, psychology and sensory domains. This article aims to provide reference and basis for subsequent researches.
