Abstract: Objective: To investigate the nutritional literacy of Maintenance Hemodialysis patients and its influencing factors. Methods: From March to May 2022, 313 Maintenance Hemodialysis patients were selected from the blood purification center of two tertiary grade A hospitals in Fuzhou. They were investigated by demographic data and related factors questionnaire, the Nutritional Literacy Evaluation Scale, the Social Support Scale and the Hope Level Scale. Results: The total score of nutritional literacy in Maintenance Hemodialysis patients was 19.88±4.31, among which the score of behavioral practice ability and information acquisition ability were the lowest. The main influencing factors of nutritional literacy in Maintenance Hemodialysis patients were the residence, education level, self-conscious economic pressure, self-care ability, social support and hope level. Conclusion: The nutritional literacy of Maintenance Hemodialysis patients is at the lower middle level, and the level of behavioral practice ability and information acquisition ability are low, which needs to be further improved. Medical staff should take more targeted measures according to different influencing factors to improve the nutritional literacy of patients.
