Application of 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system in intervention of social disorders in children with autism

Objective: To evaluate the effect of 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system on social dysfunction in children with autism, so as to improve children's social ability. Methods: A total of 80 children with autism admitted to a tertiary grade A hospital in Guangxi from January to October 2025 were selected by convenience sampling method and randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine social rehabilitation intervention, while the intervention group was treated with 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system and routine social rehabilitation intervention. The social ability, autism-related social abnormal behaviors, rehabilitation compliance were compared between the two groups. Results: The scores of each dimension and total score of Social Responsiveness Scale in the intervention group at 6 and 12 weeks of intervention were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of each item and total score of social related dimensions of Aberrant Behavior Checklist in the intervention group at 6 and 12 weeks of intervention were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The rehabilitation compliance rate of the intervention group was 92.5%, which was higher than 72.5% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). No serious adverse events occurred in both groups. Conclusion: The 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system can effectively improve social competence, ameliorate abnormal social behaviors related to autism in children with autism, which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of early intervention with pediatric massage rehabilitation assisted by the DeepSeek-V3 (DSV3) model on limb motor function in children with craniocerebral injury, and to provide a reference for early and precise rehabilitation of children with craniocerebral injury. Methods: A total of 46 children with moderate to severe craniocerebral injury admitted to the neurosurgery department of a tertiary grade A children's hospital in Nanchang from January to December 2025 were conveniently selected as the observation group, in which the DSV3 model was used to assist decisionmaking for the pediatric massage plans. A total of 46 children admitted from January to December 2024 was selected as the control group, and receiving conventional physician decision-making rehabilitation plans. The consciousness state, limb motor function, and intracranial pressure of the two groups were compared after intervention. Results: At 5 days, 10 days after intervention and at discharge, the Glasgow Coma Scale scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the intracranial pressure values were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The observation group showed higher upper limb muscle strength level (3.48±0.62, 4.30±0.55, 4.37±0.61) and lower limb muscle strength level (3.50±0.55, 4.37±0.57, 4.50±0.59) compared with the control group (upper limb: 2.87±0.69, 3.41±0.54, 3.67±0.52; lower limb: 2.93±0.74, 3.52±0.59, 3.65±0.57), with significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: The DSV3 model-assisted pediatric massage plan can improve the consciousness state, promote the recovery of limb motor function in children with craniocerebral injury, and control intracranial pressure, demonstrating its potential clinical decision support value.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the Goals-Activity-Motor Enrichment (GAME)-based Portage early education method in family-based rehabilitation care for high-risk infants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and to provide evidence for family intervention in this population. Methods: Totally 90 high-risk infants with ASD who were treated in a tertiary grade A hospital in Anhui province were recruited from March to October 2024. They were randomly assigned to either the control group or the intervention group using a random number table. The control group (n=45) received conventional family care and rehabilitation, while the intervention group (n=45) received the GAME-based Portage early education method. Gesell Developmental Quotient scores, parenting stress, parenting competence, and the positive screening rate for ASD were compared between the two groups after the intervention. Results: At 3 and 6 months after intervention, the intervention group showed significantly higher Gesell scores and parenting competence scores than the control group (P<0.05), and significnatly lower parenting stress (P<0.05). At 18 months of age, 10 children (22.2%) in the intervention group and 29 children (64.4%) in the control group screened positive on the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT). A comparison between the two groups showed a statistically significant difference (P<0.001). Conclusion: The GAME-based Portage early education method can improve developmental outcomes in high-risk infants with ASD, and reduce parenting stress, showing promise for clinical application.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of structured pulmonary rehabilitation training in school-age children with pneumonia, and provide references for promoting clinical pulmonary rehabilitation of such children. Methods: A total of 126 school-age children hospitalized with pneumonia in a tertiary grade A hospital in Hefei from August 2025 to January 2026 were conveniently selected and equally divided into a control group and an observation group according to admission time, with 63 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation training, while the observation group was given structured pulmonary rehabilitation training. Pulmonary function indexes, 6-minute walking distance, Borg Category-Ratio 10 Scale score, post-exercise heart rate change and other indicators were compared between the two groups after intervention. Results: After intervention, FVC%, FEV1%, and FEV1/FVC% in the observation group were 100.43±12.22, 96.07±13.08, 98.15±6.70, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (92.68±9.49, 85.87±10.60, 95.20±9.61), all differences were statistically significance (P<0.05). The 6-minute walking distance and rehabilitation compliance score in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in Borg Category-Ratio 10 Scale score and post-exercise heart rate change between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Structured pulmonary rehabilitation training can effectively improve pulmonary function, exercise capacity, and rehabilitation compliance in school-age children with pneumonia.

Objective: To develop an inpatient rehabilitation nursing model for children with hematological tumors, and to provide reference for specialized rehabilitation nursing practice. Methods: Through literature analysis, case analysis, and opinion solicitation, the CARES model (Comprehensive Screening, Accurate Assessment, Referral & Escalation, Execution & Collaboration, Surveillance & Follow-up) of inpatient rehabilitation nursing for children with hematologic tumors was developed. Rehabilitation service coverage, rehabilitation outcomes, and parental satisfaction were compared between 1238 pediatric patients of the pre-implementation period (January to June 2025) and 1193 pediatric patients of the post-implementation period (July to December 2025). Results: Following implementation of the CARES model, rehabilitation assessment rate increased significantly from 3.2% to 87.7% (P<0.01). The median parental satisfaction score increased from 4.75 to 4.94 (P<0.05). Muscle strength in children receiving rehabilitation nursing improved significantly from 3.50 (3.00, 4.80) to 4.00 (4.00, 4.00) (P<0.05). Conclusion: The CARES model enables early identification of functional impairment and continuity of rehabilitation, enhances rehabilitation efficiency and outcomes, offering a practical pathway for integrated rehabilitation nursing during the treatment phase of children with malignant tumors.

Status quo and influencing factors of Artificial Intelligence acceptance among clinical nurses

Objective: Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Technology Acceptance Model, this study aims to investigate the current status of nurses' acceptance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and analyze the influencing factors, thereby providing a basis for enhancing nurses' willingness to adopt AI and promoting its clinical application. Methods: A convenience sampling method was employed to conduct a questionnaire survey among 563 in-service nurses from 21 hospitals in Guangdong province from May to December 2024. The survey instruments included a demographic questionnaire and the Nurse AI Application Acceptance Questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to identify the factors influencing nurses' acceptance of AI. Results: A total of 563 valid questionnaires were collected. The average score for nurses' acceptance of AI application was 122.68±25.53. Besides, multiple linear regression analysis revealed that nurses' gender, educational background, professional rank, and prior experience with electronic nursing documentation systems and hospital's information connectivity level were significant influencing factors (P<0.05). And these factors collectively explained 24.0% of the total variance in acceptance. Conclusion: Clinical nurses' acceptance of AI is generally at a moderate level, indicating significant room for improvement. It is therefore recommended that to increase information connectivity and reduce concerns to facilitate the application of AI in clinical practice.

Development, reliability and validity of paternal role adaptation scale for NICU preterm infants' fathers

Objective: To develop an assessing scale for paternal role adaptation of fathers of preterm infants discharged from the NICU, and test its reliability and validity, providing a tool for evaluating the level of paternal role adaptation of discharged preterm infants. Methods: Guided by Meleis' Transition Theory, the draft of the scale was formed through literature review, qualitative interviews, and expert consultation. From September 2023 to April 2024, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 304 fathers of preterm infants conveniently recruited from the outpatient department of a tertiary grade A children's hospital in Chongqing. Item analysis was used to screen items, and the scale was further evaluated for reliability and validity. Results: The scale consisted of three dimensions: role cognition, knowledge and skills, and emotional and social support, with a total of 18 items. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that all model fitting indices reached acceptable levels. The item-level content validity index ranged from 0.800 to 1.000, and the scale-level content validity index was 0.965. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.940, and the split-half reliability was 0.901. Conclusion: The paternal role adaptation scale for NICU preterm infants' fathers has good reliability and validity. It can reflect the degree of role adaptation of fathers of preterm infants, and is applicable as an evaluation tool for measuring their paternal role adaptation level.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and to explore its associated factors based on the health ecological model, so as to provide evidence for clinical interventions. Methods: The convenience sampling was employed to select inpatients with COPD admitted to two tertiary grade A hospitals in Huaihua between March and September 2025 as study subjects. Based on the health ecological model, a survey was conducted using the general information questionnaire, the Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI), the COPD Assessment Test (CAT), the Short-Form Mini-Nutritional Assessment (MNA-SF), the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Scale, the Brief 2-Way Social Support Scale, and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Additionally, muscle strength, appendicular skeletal muscle mass, and physical function were measured in the patients. A binary Logistic regression model was utilized to analyze the factors associated with sarcopenia in patients with COPD. Results: The prevalence of sarcopenia among patients with COPD was 23.2%. Age, gender, CAT score, CCI score, ADL ability, perceived social support, and depression were identified as independent associated factors (P<0.05). Conclusion: Sarcopenia exhibits a higher incidence in patients with COPD, with influencing factors encompassing personal characteristics, behavioural and psychological approaches, and interpersonal network dimensions within the health ecological model. It is suggested that clinical interventions should be developed from a multidimensional perspective to reduce the incidence of sarcopenia.

Facilitators and barriers for nurses in preventing Venous Thromboembolism in trauma patients: a qualitative study

Objective: To explore the facilitators and barriers for nurses to implement preventive care for Venous Thromboembolism in trauma patients, providing a basis for formulating clinical countermeasures. Methods: Based on the Theoretical Domains Framework, descriptive qualitative research was adopted. From April to September 2024, 25 nurses engaged in trauma care from 4 tertiary grade A hospitals in Jiangsu province were selected as the research subjects through purposive sampling for semi-structured interviews. The framework content analysis method was used to organize and analyze the interview data. Results: Facilitators include internalization of responsibilities driven by professional identity, strengthening of preventive self-efficacy through regular implementation, enhanced team collaboration, and execution motivation guided by nursing values. Barriers include insufficient promotion of evidence, lack of effectiveness monitoring, inadequate hardware resources, poor understanding and cooperation from patients and caregivers, mismatch between general plans and the needs of trauma patients, and limitations in preventive implementation due to work overload. Conclusion: The study systematically identified the facilitating and barrier factors for nurses in implementing preventive care for Venous Thromboembolism in trauma patients, providing a theoretical basis for formulating targeted strategies at multiple levels and improving the effectiveness of preventive care practice.

Objective: To develop a sleep restriction program for older adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and insomnia, and validate its effectiveness, thereby providing implications for sleep improvement among this population. Methods: Based on Health Action Process Approach, a preliminary sleep restriction program was developed through literature review and refined via the Delphi expert consultation method. Using convenience sampling, eight eligible participants were recruited from a community health center in Fuzhou between May and July 2024 to preliminarily validate the program. Results: The Delphi consultation process involved 15 experts across two rounds, achieving response rates of 83.3% and 100.0%, respectively. The expert authority coefficient reached 0.890, with Kendall's W coefficients of 0.224 and 0.385 for successive rounds (all P<0.05). The finalized protocol comprised 4 first-level domains and 16 second-level components. Preliminary application results showed that the Insomnia Severity Index scores of 8 elderly individuals decreased from 14.00±4.72 to 10.75±3.41 after the intervention, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: The program shows scientific rigor and clinical applicability, with preliminary efficacy in improving sleep conditions.

The status quo of cognitive function, depressive state and physical function of older adults in self-care area of nursing homes

Objective: To investigate the status quo of cognitive function, depressive state, and physical functions of older adults living in self-care area of nursing homes, and to explore the pathway among these three variables, providing evidence for developing targeted care plans. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 232 older adults in the self-care area of 4 nursing homes in Xiangtan city, Hunan province, using convenience sampling from July to August 2024 and September 2025. The general information questionnaire, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) were used for data collection. Structural equation modeling was performed to examine the pathways among cognitive function, physical function and depression. Results: The cognitive function score was 23.00±5.19, with 150 participants (64.6%) potentially having cognitive impairment. The depression score was 1.00 (0, 3.00), and 30 participants (12.9%) were indicated to potentially have depression. The physical function score was 7.77±3.84, and 135 participants (58.2%) had impaired physical function. The structural equation model showed a good fit (RMSEA=0.074, CFI=0.892). Path analysis revealed that cognitive function had a significant direct positive effect on physical function (β=0.360, P<0.001), and depressive state had a significant direct negative effect on physical function (β=-0.255, P<0.001). The mediating effect test indicated that depressive state played a partial mediating role (β=0.035, 95%CI: 0.001-0.097). Conclusion: The functional status of older adults in the self-care area of nursing homes is not very good. Cognitive function affects physical function mainly through a direct pathway, with depressive state playing a partial mediating role. An integrated cognitive-emotional-physical care approach is recommended.

Experience of enterostomy patients in utilizing medical services: a Meta-synthesis

Objective: To conduct a systematic evaluation of qualitative studies on the experience of utilizing medical services among enterostomy patients, so as to provide references for healthcare providers to optimize care strategies. Methods: We systematically searched qualitative studies on enterostomy patients’ experience of utilizing medical services in relevant databases from their inception to March 24, 2025, and adopted integrative synthesis to analyze the results. Results: A total of 11 articles were included to extract 42 themes which could be summarized into 8 categories. Finally, four integrated findings were synthesized, namely insufficient information and educational support, lack of psychosocial support and difficulty in life adaptation, helplessness and uncertainty caused by communication barriers and lack of continuous services, and overcoming obstacles to seek favorable support systems. Conclusion: Enterostomy patients have multiple experiences during the process of utilizing medical services. Therefore, healthcare providers should strengthen health education to improve patients' disease awareness and self-care ability. Moreover, it's necessary to integrate multi-party resources to help patients build a support system and continuously optimize nursing models to alleviate their treatment burden.

Evidence summary for exercise interventions for weight loss in childhood obesity

Objective: To synthesize the evidence on exercise-based weight loss interventions for childhood obesity globally, aiming to provide a scientific basis for clinical practice. Methods: Based on the "5S" evidence hierarchy model, a systematic search was conducted in Chinese and English databases, guideline platforms, and academic platforms to identify clinical decisions, guidelines, evidence summaries, expert consensus statements, and systematic reviews. The retrieval period spanned from October 31, 2015 to January 31, 2026. Reviewers assessed the quality of the included studies, extracted and classified the evidence. Results: A total of 4 clinical decisions, 6 guidelines, 1 expert consensus, and 5 systematic reviews were included. Twenty-three evidence items were synthesized across six domains: exercise assessment, exercise program formulation, exercise intervention implementation strategies, exercise intervention promotion strategies, exercise fatigue and injury management, and exercise intervention effectiveness evaluation. Conclusion: The evidence summarized in this study for exercise-based weight loss interventions in childhood obesity is relatively comprehensive, enabling healthcare institutions and clinical practitioners at all levels to translate and apply the evidence according to their local medical resources and clinical setting.

Construction and cross-sectional survey of sensitive quality indicators for Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing in tertiary hospitals

Objective: To construct sensitive quality indicators for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing in tertiary hospitals and conduct a cross-sectional survey, providing a tool for the quality management and continuous improvement of TCM nursing. Methods: Based on Donabedian's theory, sensitive quality indicators for TCM nursing in tertiary hospitals were constructed through two rounds of Delphi consultation. From January to June 2024, a convenience sampling method was used to select 290 tertiary hospitals in 26 provinces to investigate the current situation of sensitive quality indicators for TCM nursing. Results: The sensitive quality indicators for TCM nursing in tertiary hospitals include 4 first-level items, 7 second-level items, and 28 third-level items. The cross-sectional survey shows that the bed-to-nurse ratio in hospitals was 1:0.52, the proportion of nurses with a college degree or above in the entire hospital was 94.77%, and the proportion of national TCM nursing backbone nurses was 0.95%; the application rate of TCM nursing plans for 52 diseases was 87.67%, and the admission management rate of TCM nursing technique practitioners was 78.58%; the proportion of completed follow-up evaluation of TCM nursing adverse events was 76.63%. Conclusion: The constructed sensitive quality indicators for TCM nursing in tertiary hospitals have good reliability and scientificity. The structure of TCM nursing human resources is stable at the basic level, but the structure of high-level and specialized talents needs to be optimized. The application of TCM nursing plans and techniques is widespread, but the admission assessment mechanism needs to be standardized. The management mechanism for TCM nursing adverse events has been initially established, but the risk point control needs to be managed in a closed loop.

Objective: To develop a multi-departmental collaborative management scheme for improving quality and efficiency in operating rooms, so as to provide references for enhancing surgical efficiency and nursing quality. Methods: Using the action research method, a "plan-act-observe-reflect" cycle was implemented from 2023 to 2024 to dynamically optimize five indicators: the compliance rate of surgical item counting, the number of times circulating nurses left the operating room, surgeon and patient satisfaction, on-time surgery start rate, and operating room utilization rate. Improvement measures were jointly carried out by multiple departments including the nursing department, medical affairs office, and anesthesiology department. Results: Following two rounds of interventions, the compliance rate of surgical count policy rose to 96.96%, the number of times circulating nurses left the operating room dropped to 0, patients' satisfaction rate reached 99.78%, surgeons' satisfaction rate were 81.49% (hospital) and 93.03% (OR level), the on-time start rate of surgeries increased from 74.60% to 89.50%, and the utilization rate of operating rooms rose from 76.74% to 90.49%. Conclusion: Dynamic indicator monitoring and refined time management can effectively improve operating room quality and efficiency, and this scheme is worthy of promotion.

Survey on the current status of pre-treatment of reusable medical devices in 2377 hospitals in China

Objective: To investigate the current status of the pre-treatment of reusable medical devices in hospitals in China, providing a scientific basis for the revision of relevant policies and standards for infection control in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). Methods: From May 13 to 29, 2025, 2377 hospitals across 31 provinces in China were selected as the research subjects by using convenience sampling method. A questionnaire was designed based on the requirements of relevant standards for CSSD to investigate and analyze the pre-treatment status of reusable medical devices in hospitals of various levels. Results: Among the 2377 hospitals surveyed, 68.91% of CSSDs had established standardized operating procedures for pre-treatment; 45.77% of hospitals applied moisturizing treatment for devices that do not enter the CSSD within 1 hour after use; 78.63% of clinical departments and 88.35% of operating rooms performed pre-treatment on instruments after use; 59.44% of clinical departments and 68.24% of operating rooms performed on-site pre-treatment for reusable devices used by patients with infectious diseases. Conclusion: The overall execution level of reusable medical device pre-treatment in Chinese hospitals needs improvement. It is essential to strengthen institutional management, personnel training, and risk awareness, and establish operating procedures and dedicated facilities to provide a guarantee for hospital sterilization quality.

Objective: Based on the perspective of ergonomics to evaluate the posture load in common clinical nursing operations, and to analyze nurses' musculoskeletal injury risk, so as to provide a basis for the development of targeted occupational health protection measures for nurses. Methods: Using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method, video capture and posture analysis were performed on the process of 53 clinical nurses selected by convenience sampling method in a tertiary grade A hospital in Changsha performing 32 common nursing operations from June to July 2025. Three trained evaluators independently scored according to the RULA criteria, calculated the mean value to obtain the final RULA score, and delineated the risk level. Results: Among the 32 operations, 12 (37.50%) were extremely high risk, 9 (28.13%) were high risk, and 11 (34.38%) were medium risk. The difference of neck/trunk/leg RULA score between different risk levels was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: There is a common risk of middle and high level musculoskeletal injury in clinical nursing operations. It is suggested to carry out comprehensive intervention from the aspects of optimizing the operation environment, standardizing the placement of items, promoting the auxiliary tools, improving teamwork process, and strengthening systematic training, so as to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury of nurses.

Objective: To develop and validate a prediction model for in-hospital Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (MACE) in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), providing clinicians with a tool to identify the of MACE in ACS patients during hospitalization.?Methods: ACS patients admitted to the emergency department of a tertiary hospital in Hunan province from September 2021 to January 2023 were retrospectively enrolled via convenience sampling. General clinical data, symptoms, and laboratory parameters were collected. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were performed to establish a in-hospital MACE prediction model. A nomogram was constructed and its prediction effect was evaluated. Results: Among 920 ACS patients, 190 occurred in-hospital MACE, with an incidence rate of 20.65%. Logistic regression analysis revealed that female gender and chest pain duration <20 min were protective factors (all P<0.05), while body temperature ≥38.5 °C, coronary heart disease risk factors, ECG abnormalities, and raised troponin levels were risk factors (all P<0.05). The model exhibited an area under the curve of 0.939, specificity of 0.807, sensitivity of 0.921, and Youden index of 0.728. The Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed χ2=10.156 (P=0.254), and decision curve analysis demonstrated favorable clinical utility. Conclusion: The prediction model developed in this study demonstrates good predictive performance and clinical applicability, providing nurses with a reference for early identification of ACS patients at high risk for in-hospital MACE and implementation of targeted interventions.

Objective: To develop and validate a risk prediction model for pressure injury in patients with traumatic brain injury, so as to provide a reference for clinical medical staff to accurately identify high-risk populations at an early stage. Methods: Patients with traumatic brain injury hospitalized in a tertiary grade A hospital in Lhasa between January 2023 and December 2024 were recruited using convenience sampling. A total of 801 eligible cases were randomly assigned to a training set and an internal validation set at a 7 : 3 ratio (561 and 240 cases, respectively), and an additional 135 cases (January to July 2025) were included for external validation. Pressure injury risk was evaluated using the Braden Scale. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were conducted to develop the prediction model, and model performance was assessed by means of Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curves and calibration curves. Results: The incidence of pressure injury in training set was 8.4%. Age, blood glucose, state of consciousness, BMI, no preventive measures were taken, ICU length of stay, and ventilator days were identified as influencing factors for pressure injuries in patients with traumatic brain injury (all P<0.05). In the training set, the Area Under the Curve (AUC) was 0.840, with a sensitivity of 82.3% and a specificity of 74.5%. In the internal validation set, the AUC was 0.929, with a sensitivity of 82.0% and a specificity of 95.5%. In the external validation set, the AUC was 0.990, with a sensitivity of 92.9% and a specificity of 100.0%. The Hosmer-Lemeshow test result of the training set was χ2=4.463, P=0.813. Conclusion: The risk prediction model developed in this study is highly accurate and practical. It helps clinical medical staff identify high-risk patients, implement targeted preventive and therapeutic measures, and reduce the incidence of pressure injuries.

Objective: To explore the potential profiles of nursing manager leadership and analyze its influencing factors, to provide a reference for targeted capacity improvement. Methods: From April to May 2025, 302 nursing managers from 10 hospitals in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected using convenience sampling. The general demographic questionnaire, Multi-factor Leadership Questionnaire, General Self-Efficacy Scale, and Psychological Resilience Sscale were used for data collection. Latent profile analysis was used to identify the categories of nursing manager leadership, and unordered multi-categorical Logistic regression was performed to explore the influencing factors of different leadership categories. Results: Nursing manager leadership was categorized into three categories: the negative-avoidant and low-effectiveness leadership profile (15.23%), the balanced and steady leadership profile (56.29%), and the positive-proactive and high-effectiveness leadership profile (28.48%). Logistic regression analysis showed that psychological resilience, self-efficacy, whether participation in leadership training, and years of working experience were the influencing factors of different leadership categories. Conclusion: Nursing managers' leadership characteristics exhibit heterogeneity. Medical institutions should design stratified intervention strategies based on the characteristics of different profiles and the influencing factors to achieve precision improvement of nursing management effectiveness.

Objective: To investigate the current status and influencing factors of disaster nursing core competencies among disaster rescue nurses, and to provide references for improving their core competencies. Methods: From October to December 2024, a convenience sampling method was used to recruit 256 disaster rescue nurses in tertiary hospitals in Guangdong. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, Core Competencies in Disaster Nursing Scale for Disaster Rescue Nurses, The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Perceived Organizational Support Scale. Results: The total score of disaster nursing core competencies of nurses was 124.03±24.33, with an average item score of 3.76±0.74. The total score rate was 75.2%. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that autonomy in learning disaster knowledge, psychological resilience, and perceived organizational support were factors influencing the core disaster nursing competency of disaster rescue nurses (P<0.05). Conclusion: The disaster nursing core competency of disaster rescue nurses is at a moderate level. Nursing managers should prioritize improving the organizational support system and stimulating individual learning initiative to enhance the core competency of disaster rescue nurses, thereby systematically strengthening their capacity to respond to public health emergencies and disasters.

Objective: To investigate the coupling coordination between nursing human resources and healthcare service capacity in the Sichuan-Chongqing region and to optimize the regional healthcare service system. Methods: Using data of 22 cities in the Sichuan-Chongqing region from 2012 to 2022, this study applied the entropy weight method to evaluate nursing human resources and healthcare service capacity, and adopted the coupling coordination degree model to analyze the interactive coordination between the two systems. Results: The comprehensive evaluation score of nursing human resources increased from 0.076 in 2012 to 0.143 in 2022. Meanwhile, the comprehensive evaluation score of health care service capabilities rose from 0.290 in 2012 to 0.336 in 2022. The coupling coordination degree also increased, from 0.281 in 2012 to 0.331 in 2022. Among the investigated cities, 11 achieved positive improvements, while 11 remained stable. Conclusion: The comprehensive evaluation of nursing human resources in the Sichuan-Chongqing region has improved significantly, while the growth of health care service capabilities has lagged behind. The degree of coupling and coordination has shown a steady upward trend; the spatial coordination between different regions has also progressed significantly, exhibiting clear signs of path dependence. It is recommended to expand the size of the nursing workforce and strengthen the definition of their core responsibilities; in addition, efforts should be made to enhance collaborative training programs among various stakeholders, and regional-specific policies should be implemented accordingly.

Objective: To construct an Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) framework for psychiatric nurses in standardized residency training, aiming to provide a standardized and operable tool for their clinical competency cultivation and phased assessment. Methods: The core EPAs indicators, their content descriptions, and expected entrustment levels for psychiatric nurses in standardized residency training were determined through literature review and the Delphi expert consultation method. The core competencies corresponding to these EPAs indicators were established via an expert panel meeting, thereby forming the core EPAs framework. Results: Two rounds of Delphi consultation involving 24 experts were completed, with valid questionnaire response rates of 100% for both rounds. The expert authority coefficient was 0.883. The Kendall's W coefficients for the importance scores of the indicators were 0.361 and 0.426 for the two rounds, respectively (both P<0.001). The final framework encompasses 4 domains and 24 EPAs indicators with detailed descriptions. The required core competencies and the expected entrustment levels at different training stages for each indicator were also clarified. Conclusion: The EPAs framework for psychiatric nurses in standardized residency training constructed in this study demonstrates scientific validity. It can serve as a reference for the training and assessment of these nurses in the future.

Objective: To analyze the current status and existing problems of clinical practice among blood purification nurses in Xizang Autonomous Region, so as to provide references for the rational allocation of blood purification nursing human resources in Xizang Autonomous Region. Methods: From July to October 2025, a total of 85 blood purification nurses from 13 hospitals in the Xizang Autonomous Region were recruited by convenience sampling and investigated with a self-designed questionnaire. Results: In total, 63.53% of blood purification nurses were concentrated in Lhasa, and 90.59% in public hospitals. The nursing team was mainly composed of young and middle-aged nurses aged 31-<40 years (54.12%) and those with bachelor’s degree or above (76.47%), while nurses with senior professional title only accounted for 3.53%. The average time proportion allocated to clinical nursing, nursing education, nursing research and nursing management was 71.77%, 8.65%, 2.58% and 17.00%, respectively. The number of years in practice was the key factor influencing nurses' participation rate in advanced practice. Conclusion: The structure of blood purification nurses in the Xizang Autonomous Region is imbalanced, and their participation in advanced practice is insufficient. It is necessary to establish an evidence-based, nurse-centered, and regionally collaborative plateau-adaptive management model in the future.

Objective: To develop and implement a stoma leakage prevention protocol based on body morphology assessment, aiming to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods: A stoma leakage prevention protocol based on body morphology assessment was formulated through literature review and expert consultation. Using convenience sampling, patients with intestinal stomas admitted to a tertiary grade A cancer specialty hospital in Henan province from January to June 2025 were enrolled. The control group (n=44) received conventional stoma care, while the intervention group (n=44) implemented the morphology assessment-based leakage prevention protocol. The two groups were compared regarding postoperative stoma leakage incidence, peristomal skin complication rates, and nursing satisfaction. Results: At 1 week postoperatively, the leakage rate in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), a continuous downward trend was observed at 4 and 8 weeks postoperatively, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The incidence of skin complications at 4 and 8 weeks postoperatively was significantly lower in the intervention group than in the control group (P<0.05). At 8 weeks postoperatively, the total nursing satisfaction score was significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group (P<0.001). Conclusion: A stoma leakage prevention program based on body morphology assessment effectively reduces the risk of early postoperative leakage in ileostomy patients, significantly decreases skin complications, and enhances patient nursing satisfaction.

Objective: To analyze behaviors, challenges, and multidimensional needs in the disease management of children with limb venous malformations using patient journey mapping, providing evidence for optimizing pediatric chronic disease management. Methods: Using purposive sampling, semi-structured interviews were conducted from July to October 2025 with 13 children with limb venous malformations and their caregivers at a tertiary grade A children's hospital. Data were analyzed using content analysis to develop a patient journey map. Results: Organized along the timeline of screening/diagnosis, perioperative period, treatment intervals and observation periods, the analysis integrated findings across behavioral, challenge, and need dimensions. This yielded 19 themes, including caregivers' emotional fluctuations and trial-and-error healthcare-seeking behaviors; challenges such as early symptom neglect and inadequate pain management for children; and needs like disease awareness support and specialized outpatient services. Conclusion: Multidimensional gaps exist in disease management for children with limb venous malformations. Future interventions should include: establishing multidisciplinary collaborative teams to strengthen clinical regimens and technical support; developing phased disease disclosure pathways; improving a dual-dimensional psychological support system; and building a digital follow-up platform to deliver precise and continuous full-cycle care services.

Objective: To review the current application of Patient Decision Aid (PDA) in the context of Advance Care Planning (ACP), and to provide a reference for the development of standardized, localized ACP decision aids. Methods: Following the guideline of scoping review, a systematic search was conducted in relevant databases for literature published from January 1, 2000, to January 31, 2026. The included literature was screened, data was extracted, and a narrative synthesis was performed. Results: A total of seventeen articles were included. The PDA types encompassed videos, websites, and booklets, etc. The development foundations included five categories, such as International Patient Decision Aid Standards (IPDAS) 4.0, evidence-based models, and the IP-SDM model. Adherence to IPDAS 4.0 varied across different PDA, with some dimensions, such as decision guidance and tool evaluation, showing poor compliance. Conclusion: PDA can effectively promote patient engagement in decision-making and improve decision quality in ACP. However, the research and development of ACP decision aids in China is still in its early stages. Future efforts should focus on promoting the development of localized PDA in ACP based on IPDAS 4.0.

This article reviews recent research on disease communication between cancer patients and their minor children, analyzes the patterns, influencing factors, and current types of interventions involved, and offers recommendations based on existing challenges, with the aim of providing guidance for the development of future research protocols.
