Abstract: This article focuses on the updated and revised contents in the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association International's nursing diagnoses: definitions and classification (2024-2026) (compared with the 2021-2023 edition), providing examples and interpretations from the perspectives of nursing diagnosis names, defining characteristics, clinical indicators, and related factors. It further explores the application of this revised edition in the field of nursing, integrating insights from nursing education and clinical practice in China. It provides assistance for Chinese nursing staff to keep abreast of the global development trends of nursing diagnoses and to study them in depth.
