Abstract: This study reviewed the application of photovoice, a participatory action research method, in various fields of nursing, including nursing education, mental health care, clinical nursing practice and nursing management to better understand patients' experience. It aims to discuss the advantages of photovoice in nursing and the potential areas of health care for improvement, offering insights for nursing researchers to address relevant research questions through photovoice.
