Abstract: Objective: To develop a mini program for the management of heart failure and evaluate its usability, so as to provide a feasible disease management tools for patients at different stages of heart failure. Methods: Guided by the patient-centered design concept, we explored in depth the disease management demands of patients at different stages of heart failure through interviews, and then determined the core modules and functions of the mini program. Using purposive sampling, 12 inpatients at different stages of heart failure from a tertiary grade A hospital in Beijing were enrolled for usability evaluation from August to December 2025. Results: A mini program named Quanxin Zhiguan was developed with the integration of virtual digital human technology. The test results showed that all participants completed 5 typical tasks with a 100% completion rate, an average completion time of less than 5 minutes. The score of the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire was 22.56±4.72, indicating good usability and user experience. Conclusion: The mini program demonstrates comprehensive functionality and content. It can provide stage-specific disease management guidance for patients with heart failure based on their needs, and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
