Abstract: Objective: To construct an information intelligent prevention decision support system for prevent Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD), and explore the application effect. Methods: A research team was established to develop IAD information intelligent prevention decision support system by using human-computer interaction techniques. The system includes six modules, namely IAD risk assessment, IAD prevention and nursing measures, IAD prevention and nursing effect evaluation, nursing record, intelligent warning system and IAD nursing quality management, in order to realize intelligent assessment, early warning, and automatic push closed-loop management functions. In January 2020, the system was officially put into clinical application. The implementation rate of IAD preventive nursing measures, the incidence rate of IAD and the statistical time-consuming of IAD nursing quality data were compared before and after the application. Results: After applying the system, the incidence of IAD decreased by 15.7% to 6.5%, and the implementation rate of IAD preventive nursing measures increased by 72.9% to 90.7%, which has statistically significant differences before application (P<0.05). One-click extraction of IAD care quality data was realized. Conclusion: IAD information intelligent prevention decision support system can reduce the incidence of IAD, provides the best decision-making for clinical nurses, and improves the quality of care and management efficiency of incontinence.
