Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the application effects of the informative transfer system in the safety management of surgical patient. Methods: A total of 104 patients who needed hepatobiliary surgery were recruited in the quasi-experimental study. The nurse's informed time, the time of consecutive operation patients accessing to the operating room, the accuracy of the patient information, the surgical item carrying complete qualified rate and the error rate of the wrong surgical patient were compared before and after the informative transfer system was used. Results: The nurse's informed time, the time of consecutive operation patients accessing to the operating room and the error rate of wrong surgical patient in the informative transfer system group were significantly lower than that of the traditional manual transfer management group (P<0.05). The accuracy of patient information and the surgical item carrying complete qualified rate were higher (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of informative transfer system can reduce the occurrence of adverse events, improve the qualified rate of carrying complete surgical items, increase the accuracy of patient information and ensure the safety of surgical patients.
