In terms of perioperative health education, 71.5% of nurses could evaluate the psychological status of patients and guide the patients to cope with the problems, 66.4% of the nurses could position the preoperative stoma, 80.4% of the nurses provided regular follow-up. Less than 66.0% of the nurses perform information management. 46.3% of visits were carried out by nurses and physicians. Nurses with full-time position, more than three years working experience, and caring of more than 50 cases per year could perform better management than nurses with part-time position, less than three years working experience, and caring of less than 50 cases. Conclusion: The management level of stoma patients by Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse needs to be further improved, including psychological care, stoma positioning, information management, etc. The teaching contents and level of the practice base should be improved at the same time.
