Abstract: Objective: To understand the supply and demand of services for the disabled elderly in the long-term care insurance system and the matching gap between supply and demand, so as to provide reference for narrowing the matching gap between supply and demand of long-term care insurance services. Methods: A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the service supply and demand of 390 disabled elderly people in the long-term care insurance system in Fujian province from May to July 2021 by using convenient sampling method. Results: The total score of service need and service supply of 390 disabled elderly in long-term care insurance nursing institutions was 57.82±3.47 and 52.94±8.41, respectively. There was a significant difference between the supply and demand of nursing services for the disabled elderly (P<0.001). Conclusion: The matching of supply and demand of nursing services for the disabled elderly in the long-term care insurance system in Fujian province is not optimistic. Long-term care insurance nursing institutions should focus on the needs of the disabled elderly and accurately meet their diverse and multi-level health needs to narrow the gap between supply and demand.
