Abstract: Objective: To translate the English version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity in Chinese nurses. Methods: Strictly following the principle of scale introduction, Brislin's two-person literal translation-back translation model was adopted to translate the English version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire. Expert consultation method was adopted to make cross-cultural adjustment to form the Chinese version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 573 clinical nurses to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire. Results: The Chinese version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire included six dimensions, namely knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, reinforcement factors, contributing factors and behavior, with a total of 29 items. The content validity index of the scale was from 0.833 to 1.000, and the total Cronbach' s α coefficient of the scale was 0.905. Conclusion: The Chinese version of Nurses' Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviours Questionnaire has good reliability and validity, which can be used to evaluate the occupational low back pain prevention behavior of clinical nurses in China.
