Abstract: Objective: During the COVID-19 epidemic, try the medical team resource management rescue model for patients with emergency myocardial infarction and evaluate its effect. Methods: From January 2020 to January 2021, a total of 125 patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted in a tertiary hospital in Beijing were managed by the Team Resource Management model. Outcomes in this study included duration of emergency stay, success rate of rescue, time from the first Door to Balloon (Time from the patient entering the emergency department to the completion of balloon dilatation), and the medical staff?'s attitude towards patients' safety. Results: During the epidemic period, the duration of emergency stay and time of D2B of patients with acute myocardial infarction were not prolonged. The medical staff's attitude towards to patient safety was very positive. There was no significant difference in rescue success rate. Conclusion: The medical team resource management and rescue model plays an important role in the treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction during the epidemic period. The model can improve the quality of rescue of patients and ensure patients safety during the epidemic period.
