Abstract: Return to work is an important indicator to measure whether patients with myocardial infarction have fully recovered and successfully integrated into society. This article reviewed the current status of return to work among patients with myocardial infarction at home and abroad, and reviewed the factors of return to work from six aspects: sociodemographic factors, clinical factors, occupation related factors, self-reported health, anxiety and depression, and social support. It introduced intervention methods such as exercise rehabilitation, psychological intervention, health education, and occupational rehabilitation. It is expected to provide references for medical staff to construct occupational rehabilitation programs for patients with myocardial infarction and promote the reconstruction of their social roles.
