Abstract: Objective: To explore the continuous improvement of hospital infection management and reduce the infection incidence based on the nursing quality control indicators. Methods: Bundled nursing care and checklists for nursing process management were implemented based on the guidance of indicators from monitoring the incidence of central line-associated bloodstream infection, catheter-associated urinary tract infection and ventilator-associated pneumonia nationwide by China National Database of Nursing Quality from 2015 to 2019. Results: From 2016 to 2019, the overall incidence of the above three infection events decreased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion: Strengthen the nursing process management by the guidance of nursing quality indicators is benefit to decrease the incidence of infection events, to improve the hospital infection management and nursing quality.
