Abstract: Objective: To design a computer virtual case system based on nursing clinical thinking training. Methods: Based on the medical information system in the hospital and computer virtual technology, and combined with the Training Outline For New Nurses (Trial), a computer virtual case system based on clinical thinking training for new recruits was constructed, and the clinical nursing of common diseases and the nursing procedure were included in the system. Results: The system is mainly composed of seven operation modules, including the models of nursing evaluation, nursing diagnosis, nursing plan, nursing implementation, nursing evaluation, patient medical records, patients discharged from hospital, and one assessment and evaluation module. There were 35 cases of common clinical diseases were designed in the system at present. Conclusion: The system is reasonable, since the case design is based on real clinical cases, and the nursing procedure is highlighted during the running of the cases. It's useful for new nurses to train their clinical thinking by this system.
