Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the quality and analyze the contents of the published clinical practice guidelines for the management of Chronic Heart Failure at home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the clinical practice of the management and nursing of Chronic Heart Failure in China. Methods: Guidelines on the management of Chronic Heart Failure were retrieved from the following sources: the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network, the American Heart Association, the Heart Failure Society of America, the American College of Cardiology, Canadian Cardiovascular Society, European Society of Cardiology, Joanna Briggs Institute, Evidence-based Health Care Center Database, Cochrane library, PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, CNKI, WANGFANG DATA, and CBM. Clinical guidelines research and evaluation tools were used to evaluate the quality of the included guidelines. The recommendations of the included guidelines were collated and analyzed. Results: A total of 9 clinical practice guidelines were included, of which 3 were grade A recommendations, 3 were grade B recommendations and 3 were grade C recommendations. The recommendations of the guidelines were consistent but there were still some differences. Conclusion: The overall quality of the included clinical practice guidelines for the management of Chronic Heart Failure is good. Their recommendations can provide a basis for further standardizing the management of clinical patients and reducing hospitalization and mortality. However, the specific national conditions should be considered. The development and update of localized evidence-based guidelines should be carried out based on the national conditions of China and by learning from foreign high-quality guidelines, so as to guide clinical practice.
