Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effect of Internet-based Complex Decongestion Therapy (CDT) for lower extremity lymphedema in gynecologic cancer patients. Methods: Fifty cases of gynecological cancer patients with lower extremity lymphedema were enrolled and implemented CDT management including hospital intensive treatment and self-management under the guidance of the remote CDT sefrvice platform. The circumference of the affected limb, the effective rate of treatment, symptoms, Barthel Index, and the number of medical visits were evaluated before treatment and on the 26th, 120th, and 210th days after treatment. Results: Compared with before treatment, the lower extremity circumference of 5 measuring points and all symptom scores decreased, but Barthel Index increased at 26, 120 and 210 days after treatment (P<0.05). To the circumference dynamic change, 10.52%-25.00% were extra superior grade, 50.00%-60.00% were superior grade, 18.75%-36.84% were good grade. Conclusion: Internet based CDT has good therapeutic effect on gynecological cancer patients with lower extremity lymphedema, and can be maintained for a long time, which has good clinical promotion value.
