Abstract: Objective: To explore the application effect of Homecare Platform on self-management after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) for patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). Methods: A total of 200 patients with CHD after PCI in a tertiary grade A hospital in Henan province were recruited from September 2018 to August 2019, and were evenly divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the random number table method. Both groups were provided with routine follow-up management, while the experimental group was also provided with PCI Homecare Platform. Results: The rates of readmission and adverse events in the experimental group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05). In the experimental group, use rates of anti-thrombotic drugs, statin drugs and other secondary preventive drugs, compliance of lifestyle changes (smoking cessation, rehabilitation exercise), the standard rates for blood pressure, blood glucose, body weight and blood lipid were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Health management based on PCI Homecare Platform can effectively reduce the rates of readmission and adverse events of patients and improve their quality of life.
