Abstract: Objective: To investigate the prevalence and factors associated with referral to cardiac rehabilitation of patients 1 year after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in remote areas of Heilongjiang. Methods: Totally 299 PCI patients were recruited. Demographic factors and cardiac rehabilitation referral status questionnaire, knowledge and behavior of secondary prevention after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention questionnaire, coronary artery disease health belief scale were evaluated for the study. Results: Logistic regression showed that age, education background, medical costs, knowledge and health belief were associated with referral to cardiac rehabilitation (P<0.05). Conclusion: These findings highlight the potential need for hospital-level interventions to improve cardiac rehabilitation referral rates after PCI among patients in remote areas.
