Abstract: The Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) risk prediction tools can be used to identity the high risk patients, which is important to apply appropriate preventive measures. The risk factors and risk prediction tools for Venous Thromboembolism in children were reviewed in this article. It is expected to provide information for early detection of high risk of thrombosis in pediatric patients and then to take effective preventive measures.
