Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status of innovation behaviors and information literacy among cardiovascular specialized nurses, and to analyze the influence of information literacy on innovation behaviors. Methods: A total of 298 cardiovascular specialized nurses were investigated using the Information Literacy Questionnaire and the Innovative Behavior Scale. Results: The total score of innovative behavior was 32.00±5.50, and the total score of information literacy was 77.05±8.18. Hierarchical regression showed that after controlling for demographic information, information awareness, information ability and information knowledge in information literacy were significant influencing factors of innovation behaviors, which explained 27.4% of the total variance. Conclusion: The innovative behaviors and information literacy among cardiovascular specialized nurses were at a middle level. The information literacy had a significant impact on innovative behaviors. It is suggested that nursing managers should develop information literacy training programs based on the characteristics of cardiovascular specialized nurses' information literacy and evidence-based practice to improve the innovation level of nurses and the quality of specialized nursing services.
