Abstract: Objective: To explore and verify the mediating effect of emotional intelligence and supportive communication between cultural intelligence and integration-conflict management model from the perspective of doctor-patient cultural communication. Methods: The Emotional Intelligence Scale, Cultural Intelligence Scale, Supportive Communication Scale and Integrated Style Subscale of Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory were used to investigate 673 clinical nurses. Results: Cultural intelligence directly affects the integration-conflict management model (P<0.001), with the direct effect accounting for 56.25% of the total effect, and it also influences the integration-conflict management model through partial mediation of supportive communication and chain mediation of emotional intelligence and supportive communication, accounting for 29.2% and 14.6% of the total effect, respectively. Conclusion: The nursing management department should pay attention to the cultivation of clinical nurses' cultural intelligence and emotional intelligence, and strengthen the training of supportive communication from the perspective of doctor-patient cultural communication, so as to improve their “integrated” conflict management ability and reduce the conflicts between nurses and patients caused by cultural differences, low emotional intelligence and poor communication.
