Abstract: Patient dignity has become a hot issue of concern to scholars at home and abroad, yet the research on patient dignity assessment tools is still in its infancy at present. This paper introduces the content, preparation processes, reliability and validity, scoring methods of different dignity assessment tools, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the commonly used dignity assessment tools, reviews the research progress of the dignity assessment tools, and provides a reference for a comprehensive and accurate assessment of patients' dignity status.
