Abstract: Ideological and political education in nursing courses refers to the integration of ideological and political education into all aspects of professional nursing courses teaching, and the cultivation of nursing professionals with noble medical ethics and to serve the people both morally and ingeniously. Advanced nursing practice is the core course for Master of Nursing Specialist, which is both humanistic and professional. This course can lay a solid foundation for students to adapt to and be competent for complex clinical, teaching and research work in the future. In order to establish a more unobstructed access to ideological and political education, internalize the ideological and political level of students, based on the characteristics of the course and students, this paper analyzes the necessity and obstacles of ideological and political education, and expounds the practical path of the ideological and political education in advanced nursing practice course.
