Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of a multi-model Supervised Exercise Training (SET) program in patients with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans (ASO) after interventional surgery. Methods: A total of eighty-five patients with ASO were conveniently selected in the vascular surgery department of a tertiary grade A hospital in Nanchang from October 2020 to November 2021. Participants were randomly assigned into the experimental group (43 cases) or the control group (42 cases). Patients in the control group received routine care, and patients in the experimental group received 3-month multi-model SET on the basis of routine care. The 6-Minute Walking Distance (6MWD), Pain-Free Walking Distance (PFWD), Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB), Chinese version of Self-Efficacy for Exercise Scale (SEES) and Vascular Quality of Life questionnaire (VascuQoL) scores of the two groups were compared before the intervention, and 1 month and 3 months after the intervention. Results: The 6MWD, PFWD, SPPB, Chinese version of SEES and VascuQoL scores were significantly higher in the experimental group than those in the control group at 1 month and 3 months after the intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion: Multi-model SET can effectively improve walking ability and limb function, exercise self-efficacy and quality of life of patients with ASO after interventional surgery.
