Abstract: Objective: To analyze the influencing factors of the use of day care centers for community elderly. Methods: Based on Andersen's behavior model, questionnaire survey was used to collect the data, which covered the predisposing factors, enabling factors and demanding factors, and logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors related with the using of day care centers for community elderly. Results: For all the 345 elderly, there were 161 (46.7%) used day care services and 184 (53.3%) never used. Logistic regression analysis showed that the related factors included the gender, age and educational level in the predisposing factors, average monthly income and attitudes with families in the enabling factors, and the number of chronic diseases in the demanding factors. Conclusion: There were many factors affected the use of day care center services of community elderly, and enabling factors were with the greatest affects.
