Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system on social dysfunction in children with autism, so as to improve children's social ability. Methods: A total of 80 children with autism admitted to a tertiary grade A hospital in Guangxi from January to October 2025 were selected by convenience sampling method and randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine social rehabilitation intervention, while the intervention group was treated with 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system and routine social rehabilitation intervention. The social ability, autism-related social abnormal behaviors, rehabilitation compliance were compared between the two groups. Results: The scores of each dimension and total score of Social Responsiveness Scale in the intervention group at 6 and 12 weeks of intervention were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of each item and total score of social related dimensions of Aberrant Behavior Checklist in the intervention group at 6 and 12 weeks of intervention were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The rehabilitation compliance rate of the intervention group was 92.5%, which was higher than 72.5% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). No serious adverse events occurred in both groups. Conclusion: The 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation system can effectively improve social competence, ameliorate abnormal social behaviors related to autism in children with autism, which is worthy of clinical application.
