Abstract: The development of China's healthcare assistants is currently in its early stages. To establish a scientific management system, this paper summarizes the current management practices of healthcare assistants in Japan and reviews their job responsibilities, management models, staffing requirements, training mechanisms, compensation systems, and career progression pathways. The paper aims to provide valuable insights that may support the development of healthcare assistants in China.
