Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status of ultrasound application among nurses in blood purification centers in Jiangsu province, so as to provide a reference for formulating subsequent intervention strategies. Methods: A multi-stage sampling method was adopted. In October 2024, 62 hemodialysis centers in Jiangsu province were selected and the ultrasound technology application status was investigated. A total of 258 nurses were randomly selected from those centers where the ultrasound technology had been used. Data such as ultrasound usage patterns and nurses' acceptance of ultrasound technology were collected. Results: Only 23(37.10%) hemodialysis centers used ultrasound technology, with tertiary hospitals showing a higher adoption rate. Among the 258 nurses, 57.36% had used ultrasound technology, mainly for vascular observation (79.73%) and internal fistula assessment (70.27%). The training on ultrasound technology was mainly conducted within the department and the standardized score of the "perceived ease of use" dimension was the lowest (66.69%) in nurses' acceptance evaluation. Conclusion: The utilization rate of ultrasound technology among hemodialysis nurses in Jiangsu province is relatively low. There are issues such as insufficient equipment configuration, low perceived ease of use, and unsystematic training, which require targeted optimization to promote the application of this technology.
