Abstract: This paper reviews the development of healthcare assistants in Singapore, covering its historical evolution, current status of team building, and utilization. It also briefly compares the similarities and differences between healthcare assistants in Singapore and the United Kingdom.?Based on this analysis and considering China's actual context, recommendations are proposed to improve the construction of China's healthcare assistant workforce, providing insights for further advancing its professionalization, standardization and sustainable development.
