Abstract: Objective: To analyze the relationship between psychological resilience, emergency response capability and work-related quality of life in nurses at fever clinics. Methods: From November 2021 to June 2022, 180 nurses at fever clinics of 5 hospitals in Hainan were recruited by convenience sampling. The interested variables included emergency capability (Public Health Emergency Capability Scale), resilience (Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, CD-RISC), and work-related quality of life (Quality of Work Life, QWL). The relationships among emergency response capability score, CD-RISC score and QWL score of nurses were investigated. The mediating effect of psychological resilience between emergency response capability and work-related quality of life of nurses was analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. Results: The average score of emergency response capability was 62.65±5.44, the average score of CD-RISC was 68.22±4.48, and the average score of QWL was 105.65±6.33. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the emergency response capability score of nurses was positively correlated with CD-RISC score (P<0.001), emergency response capability score was positively correlated with QWL score (P<0.001), CD-RISC score was positively correlated with QWL score (P<0.001). Psychological resilience plays a partial mediating effect between emergency response capability and work-related quality of life. Conclusion: There is a positive correlation among emergency response capability, psychological resilience and work-related quality of life of nurses at fever clinics. Emergency response capability affects work-related quality of life by adjusting psychological resilience.
