Abstract: This article introduces the definition and theoretical basis of art therapy, as well as the intervention model, intervention elements, and effect analysis of the application in the elderly with cognitive impairment. By explaining the application and research progress of art therapy in the elderly with cognitive impairment in recent years, it provides a reference for subsequent interventions.
