Abstract: Objective: To summarize the available evidence on the prevention and management of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) catheter displacement, and provide a reference to the management of PEG. Methods: Evidence of PEG catheter displacement was retrieved from UPToDate, Embase, CNKI and other databases from inception to April 1, 2023. The quality of the included literature was evaluated, data were extracted and form evidence. Results: A total of 10 literature were included, including 7 guidelines, 1 expert consensus, 1 recommended practice, and 1 clinical decision. Totally 26 pieces of evidence were summarized from 6 aspects: establishment of multidisciplinary management team, prevention measures for perioperative catheter displacement, management of postoperative pipeline, determination of catheter location, management of catheter displacement, health education and follow-up. Conclusion: The summarized evidence on the prevention and management of PEG catheter displacement can be applied to clinical practice and promote the standardized management of PEG.
