Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the self-efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation exercise in patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), so as to provide references for formulating targeted cardiac rehabilitation exercise plan for patients after PCI. Methods: Totally 241 inpatients in the Department of Cardiology of a tertiary grade A hospital in Beijing were conveniently selected from January to October, 2022. The survey tools included the general information questionnaire, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Self-efficacy Scale, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Knowledge and Attitude Questionnaire for Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction, and the Family Resilience Assessment Scale. Results: The score of self-efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation exercise in patients after PCI was 41.16±8.41, the total scores of knowledge and attitude about cardiac rehabilitation, family resilience, duration of coronary heart disease, smoking history, education level, family monthly income, and the history of coronary heart disease in direct relatives were the influencing factors of self-efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation exercise in patients after PCI (P<0.05), with an explanatory variance of 54.1%. Conclusion: The self-efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation exercise in patients after PCI is not good, especially the patients with low level of knowledge and attitude of cardiac rehabilitation, low family resilience, short course of coronary heart disease, low family monthly income, low education level, no smoking history and the history of myocardial infarction in direct relatives, medical staff should attach importance to the intervention of self-efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation exercise in these patients.

Key words: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention; self-efficacy; cardiac rehabilitation exercise; family resilience
