Abstract: Objective: To retrieve the relevant evidence and recent progress of bone marrow cavity infusion therapy for adult cardiac arrest patients, and to summarize the evidence, and then to provide a reference basis for standardizing clinical practice and optimizing the establishment of vascular access in adult cardiac arrest patients. Methods: A systematic search of national and international databases for all evidence on the treatment of adult cardiac arrest patients with bone marrow cavity infusion was conducted with a time frame of construction to May 1, 2023, and the quality of the included literature was independently evaluated, and the evidence was extracted and summarized. Results: A total of 11 papers were included, including 2 guidelines, 3 expert consensus papers, 2 systematic evaluations, 1 evidence summary and 3 RCTs. Eighteen pieces of evidence were summarized in six areas: personnel organization and management, timing of creation and removal, puncture site, pain management, prevention of complications, and effectiveness of tube placement and infusion. Conclusion: This study summarizes the evidence on bone marrow cavity infusion in adult cardiac arrest patients, which can provide a reference basis for healthcare professionals to use bone marrow cavity infusion correctly, but the evidence should also be applied in a targeted manner in clinical practice, so as to improve the efficacy and safety of bone marrow cavity infusion therapy in cardiac arrest patients.
