A qualitative study on the influencing factors of job security of medical staff

Abstract: Objective: To explore the influencing factors of the job security of medical staff, and to provide basis for improving their sense of security. Methods: The phenomenological research method was used to carry out the study. A total of 26 medical staff from a general hospital were recruited by convenience sampling and were given semi-structured interviews. The data collected were then analyzed and summarized to define themes. Results: Through sorting out and analyzing, three themes affecting the security sense of medical staff were extracted, namely, personal factors, organizational factors and social factors. Conclusion: It is necessary to correctly identify the influencing factors of the security sense of the medical staff, so as to take targeted measures to improve their sense of security, reduce turnover intention, and stabilize the hospital talent team.
