Abstract: The concept, assessment tools and current application of body image among patients with breast cancer were reviewed. We summarized the application of assessment tools for body image in these patients and analyzed their strength and weakness. The study is aimed to provide clinical guidelines and suggestions for researchers to select appropriate body image assessment tools for patients with breast cancer, therefore to provide references for developing culturally appropriate body image assessment tools for Chinese patients with breast cancer.
