The participants were randomly allocated to the experimental group and control group, with 55 subjects in each group. Based on Watson's Theory of Human Caring, the tutorial system of humanistic care training program was developed and applied to the experimental group. The routine training was received by the participants in the control group. Data were collected before and after the participants completing training program by the humanistic care scale at the same time to the two groups. Results: After the human care training, the total scores and the scores in the dimension of concept, ability and perception of humanistic care scale in the two groups were improved. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tutorial system of humanistic care training based on Watson's Theory of Human Caring improves new nurses' humanistic care quality, especially in the dimension of concept, ability and perception of the humanistic care.
