Abstract

Abstract: Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a health care provider who can practice independently and autonomously. NPs in western countries such as the United States, United Kingdom and Australia have developed for decades with mature training program. Upon the construction of hierarchical medical system in China, it is especially important to explore the training mode of NPs which is suitable for China. The characteristics of NP's degree and curriculum in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia are presented as examples. It aims to provide experience and reference for the development of NPs in China.
