Abstract

Abstract: This article introduces an evidence-based intervention program–Tailored Activity Program (TAP), which was initaitally implemented in the United States to effectively alleviate the neuropsychological behavioral symptoms of older adults with dementia and reduce the burden on caregivers. It also discusses the challenges and strategies of localization, and provides feasible suggestions for the development of evidence-based intervention studies for the care of older adults with dementia in China.
