Abstract

Abstract: Relying on chairman unit plat form of the lymphedema professional committee of Hunan Nursing Association, our hospital set up a "Hunan International School of lymphedema therapist" by international cooperation with Lymphoedema Training Academy (LTA) of the UK. Through these 4 aspects (teacher selection, student qualification requirements, theory and practice training, and assessment requirements), we built a relatively complete training system of lymphedema Complex Decongestion Therapy (CDT) nurse. Twenty eight nurses of the first phase have completed the training and evaluation successfully, with high overall satisfaction.
