Abstract: Management of birth positions in the second stage of labour can optimize birth outcomes and improve the quality of midwifery services. This paper reviewed the application status of upright positions in the second stage of labour and explored the main issues in implementing upright positions. It is expected to provide a reference for successful implementation and promotion of upright positions.
